has been around me my whole life. Sometime in the early 1980’s, my dad went on a trip to Japan. On his way back, he picked up a newspaper for the flight home. Buried amongst the ads, this fish logo caught his eye. The eyes were too close together. The smile was too big. Like the Cheshire cat but somehow it looked even more dumb. My dad loved this character immediately. At the time, he was working nights doing silkscreen printing in South Central LA. Naturally, he “borrowed” some company supplies and silkscreened a run of T-Shirts and gave them out to friends and family. No logo. No Signature. No explanation. Just this stupid fish. The very last screen print was on card stock and it hangs in his office today.
